5.1 User Portal

To start working, need to add to the hosts file the following line:

[truePass server internal IP address] [your domain].packetauth.com

For example:
10.10.10.1 qa.packetauth.com

NOTE: hosts file location – ‘c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

To access the User Portal, do the following:

1. Open the https://[your domain].packetauth.com.

2. Enter the Active Directory user name in UPN format and password, and click the ‘Continue‘ button.

3. After successful login, the user can see a list of assigned services (according to the Application Access Control).

  • To access the HTTP service, click the relevant link and it will be opened in a new browser tab.
  • To access the RDP service, click the relevant link and the relevant ‘*.rdp‘ file will be downloaded for further access.
  • To access the SSH/SFTP service, need to configure any SSH client (e.g., WinSCP) – for more details see the chapter below.
