1.5 Connect Hybrid Agent Service to Hybrid Gateway Service

Setting up the connection between the Hybrid Agent Service and the Hybrid Gateway Service is required only if you want to use the external remote access module using Reverse Access (RSAccess) patented technology.

To connect the Hyvrid Agent Service to the Hybrid Gateway Service, you must first ensure that both the Hyvrid Agent Service and the Hybrid Gateway Service are installed and ports are open in your firewall according to the product demands.

Network Rules setup

  1. Open the Hyvrid Agent Service admin console and select the Network Rules tab

2. Doable click on the existing rule

3. Make sure the Name check box is set to Rule is active and the Address includes a port number as detailed in the POC\SOW document under the firewall rules section.

4. Enter the IP Address/URL as detailed in the POC\SOW document under the firewall rules section, and make sure that the port number is sit in the Port box

5. Add URL in the Host Name box as detailed in the POC\SOW document under the firewall rules section, and make sure that the port number is sit in the Port box.
Make sure not to add the port number in the Host Name box

Click on OK.

After clicking on OK the Network Rules screen will close automatically

Click on pending: network policies and configuration deployments and on Yes in the Popup window

6. Move to the Dashboard tab to see the status of the Hybrid Gateway Service status.

If the Hybrid Gateway Service traffic light status is green, the connection to the Hybrid Gateway Service is working

If the Hybrid Gateway Service traffic light status is red, start by sending a telnet command the the IP/URL on port 808
